The small Sharon Gorge National Park is approximately 12km outside Bundaberg towards Gin Gin. It is a wonderfully relaxing rainforest hideaway famous for its abundance of orchids. The Gorge is dotted with palms and lined with ferns.

We recommend the 1km walking trail leading down to the Burnett River. You will be rewarded with plenty of birdlife and you might even hear the elusive whipbird calling out. There is BBQ facilities for a family picnic and toilets.
