Kroombit Tops National Park is the last home for the Kroombit tinkerfrog, a highly endangered frog. A very rugged mountainous wilderness also known as the Blue Mountains of the North, Kroombit Tops is a wonderful weekend getaway.

There is a 13km scenic drive to explore the area and plenty of hiking trails suitable for advanced hikers. Stunning sandstone cliffs, waterfalls and a variety of plants plus the incredible view from the eastern escarpment's lookout make Kroombit Tops a memorable experience.

During World War 2 Kroombit Tops became the final resting place of a liberator bomber which was not rediscovered for decades. You can take the short walk off the four wheel drive scenic loop to visit the final resting place of the aircraft.

Come to Kroombit Tops for wonderful bush camping and experience the subtropical rainforest settings.
