Meadowvale Nature Park is about 6km from Bundaberg and can be reached on the 1770 - Lowmead road. Meadowvale Nature Park offers lovely rainforest type native fauna with walking trails. There is an abundance of wildlife from kangaroos, wallabies to a great number of birdlife. The Park is unique in the fact that it has not suffered weed intrusions like most of the local environment. It can therefore give you a pretty accurate impression of what the area looked like before european style farming began.
A walking circuit takes you through the eucalyptus forest, the grassy tea tree swamp and to Splitters Creek. Calulate with an hour for the walk around the park.
